OneAsia opens flagship data center in Shanghai

OneAsia recently launched its brand new flagship datacenter in Shanghai. The 6-storey datacenter, with a total capacity of 3,360 cabinets in phase 1, and an additional 3,000+ cabinets in phase 2, is situated in the WaiGaoQiao (WGQ) Free Trade Zone of Shanghai, where customers can benefit from the tax-free policy.

The flagship datacenter commenced operation in July 2016.

OneAsia is both a licensed Fixed Network as well as a datacenter provider in China, where all of the datacenters are inter-connected with the company’s diversified fiber ring.  The company claims its fiber network outreach surpasses 90% of other carrier neutral datacenters within China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, therefore servicing within its footprint will only take days instead of weeks.  

The new data center is also interconnected with all of the company’s data centers in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Shenzhen, Beijing, as well as its new data center in Tseung Kwan O (Hong Kong), with a resilient fiber ring.
